N -- PROVIDE/INSTALL SOUND REINFORCEMENT SYSTEMS, U.S. DISTRICT COURT, WASHINGTON, DC SOL 00-5044 DUE 072500 POC Mark Germscheid (612)664-5023 Furnish, install, configure and test a complete and operational sound, video and integrated technology in the following areas: District Courtrooms in Minneapolis (5),District Courtrooms in St. Paul (4). The courtrooms in St. Paul shall be provided with sound reinforcement and presentation systems with speech and program audio reinforcement, assistive listening systems, bench conference systems, sound masking, enhanced court reporter audio,language interpretation systems, custom control and connection plates. The courtrooms in St. Paul shall be provided with a total of two portable video presentation systems, to be shared between four courtrooms, including (where indicated) high resolution displays in multiple sizes, video input devices including document camera, VCR, computer interface and auxiliary inputs. The system shall be provided with a Judge preview system. The courtrooms in Minneapolis shall be provided with a complete video presentation system including (where indicated) high resolution displays in multiple sizes, video input devices including document camera, VCR, computer interface and auxiliary inputs. The attorney table monitors shall be shared between two courtrooms per floor. The system shall be provided with a Judge preview system. All courtrooms, except for Minneapolis Courtroom 15E, shall receive a real time transcription distribution system. System shall originate from Reporters desk and shall include termination points at each attorney table, clerk, and bench locations. Unless noted otherwise on the drawings, the work shall include everything necessary or incidental to complete the installation including receptacle plates, wire, electrical boxes, racks, etc. The GSA will provide conduit and AC power circuits with grounds. The Contractor shall coordinate such excluded equipment with the GSA and GSA Representatives. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary information to insure that a proper audio/visual system will be installed. The Contractor shall restore finish hardware to originalcondition including painting, wall, millwork, and ceiling modifications and attachments. The Contractor shall provide comprehensive training of system operation. The solicitation socuments will be issued on or about July 25, 2000.
