A contract resulting from this solicitation will be a requirements contract with a period of performance of 1 October 2000 through 30 September 2000 with four (4) one-year option periods. Contractor pick-up and delivery of items will be at least weekly. Items for service will include linens, apparel, shop towels, and slip-resistant rugs. Services will include both laundering and dry cleaning, as well as furnishing items such as shop towels and rugs. Bundling, packaging, and wrapping of serviced items will be specified. Delivery of serviced items will be required within five (5) working days. The proposed procurement will be set aside 100% for small businesses. SIC code 7218 applies with a size standard of $10.5 mil. The solicitation will be RFQ DAKF61-00-Q-0058, with a tentative issue date of 12 July 2000 and a tentative due date of 4 August 2000.
