00SI100809 is currently available. We will issue the solicitation on or
about July 10, 2000. The estimated price range of the work is between
$500,000 and $1,000,000 copies of solicitation will be provided in
CD-ROM format at no charge for the first copy and $15.00 each
(nonrefundable) for each additional copy requested. The principal
components of the work to be performed under these specifications
include clearing; removal of water from foundations and pipe trench;
earthwork for and construction of a reinforced concrete fishscreen
structure with fish return pipeline; unreinforced canal lining;
furnishing and placing riprap embankment, 24-inch riprap with bedding,
and coarse gravel protection; furnishing and placing gravel surfacing
at the fishscreen structure and along and existing road along the
existing canal; raising a section of existing road along the existing
canal; site grading and vegetative erosion control; furnishing and
erecting chain link fence, replacing an existing gate, and relocating
a section of existing fence; furnishing and installing embedded
metalwork; and furnishing and installing electrical control system and
