Abbreviated Work Summary: Briefly, and without force and effect upon contract documents, work of contract can be summarized as follows: Construct an 18,000 square foot prefabricated metal structure with at least 16 feet clear from floor to ceiling on a concrete slab with a high PSI rating. Create handicap accessible entrances, restrooms, and work facilities. Upgrade to current fire code compliance for existing, combustible materials, separation and means of egress. Install HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handling units and ventilation systems. Install domestic water plumbing system. Install motor control centers and switchgear of new HVAC equipment, lighting, and office power. Install standby emergency generator to supply power to specific HVAC equipment, fire alarm system, security and communication equipment, and specific office spaces. Pre-wire computer networking. Construct new life safety code compliant means of egress, exits, fire separation and fire stopping. Install automatic fire alarm system. The work shall commence within 1 calendar day after the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed ready for use within the prescribed date for beneficial occupancy.
