The work shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision to complete construction work under Project PQWY 97-2001 entitled CORRECT FSD/REPAIR BLDG 1175, at McChord AFB Washington. Work includes: (1) Remove asbestos containing materials; 2) Remove landscaping materials and provide paving and sidewalk restoration; 3) Restore landscaped areas; 4) Provide insulation and metal wainscot; 5) Repair hangar doors; 6) Replace mechanical components; 7) Provide DDC System; 8) Provide wet pipe fire sprinkler system; 9) Provide electrical and fire alarm modifications. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The applicable SIC Code is 1541 with a size standard of an annual average revenue of $17,000,000 over three years. In conformance with FAR 19.1300 this acquisition is being considered for a Hubzone set-aside. If your firm is Hubzone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officernot later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice: (1) SBA certification of Hubzone eligibility, (2) capability statement of your firm, and (3) a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition. Based on response the Contracting Officer will make a determination; if there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition the acquisition will be conducted under full and open competition.
