Recreation Area, has identified a requirement for the construction of
new waterlines, and the construction of new and repair of existing
sewer and storm lines loctaed at Fort Mason, San Francisco, CA. The
work includes 8" and 10" waterline installation, manhole repairs,
hydroflushing, root cutting, TV inspection, and sewer and storm line
replacement. The estimated construction cost range is between $250,000
and $500,000, and award will be made on the basis of a firm fixed
price contract. Technical Proposals will be evaluated on the following
Selection Criteria: (A) EXPERIENCE: 1) Demonstrated experience in
underground utility projects, waterline, sanitary sewer and storm
drains in a city environment in the last 5 years to include new
waterline installation, repair and replacement of existing sewer and
storm lines, manhole repairs, hydroflushing, root cutting and TV
inspection. 2) Demonstrated experience in coordination with city
government officials for construction at congested urban job sites to
include obtaining permits, conducting road closures and interruption of
existing utility services, within the last 5 years. 3) Demonstrated
experience and knowledge of worker and public safety measures during
construction within the last 5 years. 4) Demonstrated experience and
knowledge of working on utility projects that have designated
archeologically sensitive sites within the project location. 5)
Contractors shall have an official established business office located
within a 50 mile radius of the National Park Headquarters, Fort Mason,
San Francisco, CA 94123. (B) PAST PERFORMANCE: 1) The Offeror shall
demonstrate successful performance on the same or similar type services
within the last 5 years to include information on performance time,
performance within budget and if performance was done in a reasonably
cooperative manner in accordance with the clauses and specifications of
the contract. 2) The Offeror shall demonstrate past performance by the
inclusion of dates, locations, customers, points of contact and award
amount. (C) PRICE is not scored. However, price will be evaluated.
