wishes to partner and/or team with manufacturers for establishing a
complete program for manufacturing metal security doors, door frames,
security grills, and windows appropriate for correctional institution
and prison construction. The program would supply the requirements for
current and future Federal Bureau of Prisons construction projects
throughout the United States. The intent of the program would be to
enhance UNICOR's mission and employ inmates at Federal Prisons through
manufacturing parts of the product line, and also, to have an outside
source for technical support and additional manufacturing capacity as
needed by UNICOR. Any manufacturing concerns having experience with
the above stated product lines should send a proposal to UNICOR similar
to the Business Development Proposal sampled in UNICOR's
website:www.unicor.gov/procurement. UNICOR is hoping to begin working
with a partner or team for developing the program sometime in July,
