UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. wishes to partner and/or team with manufacturers for establishing a complete program for manufacturing metal security doors, door frames, security grills, and windows appropriate for correctional institution and prison construction. The program would supply the requirements for current and future Federal Bureau of Prisons construction projects throughout the United States. The intent of the program would be to enhance UNICOR's mission and employ inmates at Federal Prisons through manufacturing parts of the product line, and also, to have an outside source for technical support and additional manufacturing capacity as needed by UNICOR.
