Vehicles Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/VA)
solicits research proposals for the Air Vehicles Technology Integration
Program (AVTIP). The objective of AVTIP is to conduct research to
develop, demonstrate and transition to Air Force and DoD systems new
technologies that will provide affordable, revolutionary capabilities
to the warfighter. Delivery orders shall be used to perform required
basic and applied research and advanced development projects related to
the Air Vehicles Directorate Core competencies of Aeronautical
Sciences, Control Sciences and Structures. The technology developments
will provide for cost effective, survivable aerospace platforms
capable of accurate delivery of weapons and cargo worldwide. The
technology developments in the core competencies will be focused
through an integrated concept approach to provide future capabilities
to the warfighter. The Air Vehicles integrating concepts are
Sustainment, Space Access, and Future Strike and Unmanned Air Vehicles.
