B -- BENTHIC MACROINVERTEBRATE SUBER SAMPLE ANALYSIS SOL RFQ-00030-JR DUE 071000 POC John Robb, Contracting Officer, 215-814-5468 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), Region III has a requirement for the processing and identifying of benthic macroinvertebrate surber samples. The USEPA Region III Wheeling Field Office has collected a total of 165 surber samples between the spring of 1999 and the spring of 2000. Several sites were sampled in 5 seasons (Spring 1999, Summer 1999, Fall 1999, Winter 2000, and Spring 2000). The samples shall be done in batch so that the EPA may get the data in a timely manner. The contractor shall process the samples, identify all organisms in the sample to the genus level, enter the taxonomic data in an ACCESS database to be provided by USEPA Region III, and provide the archived organisms, copies of the taxonomic lab bench sheets, and the taxonomic database back to the USEPA Region III.
