Temporary Berthing (9) Provide Additional Temporary Logistics. The
Vessels are a 100 foot inland construction tender and 70 foot barge.
The vessel's minimum depth of water is 18 feet. The tender's minimum
height clearance is 48 feet. Vessels' homeport is located in Atlantic
Beach, North Carolina. The vessels' are restricted to transiting the
Intra Coastal Waterway from Tampa, Florida, to Philadelphia, PA. The
performance period for these vessels is thirty-five (35) calendar days
beginning on or about 23 October 2000. All reference documents are
available for viewing at 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA
23510-9102. A non-refundable charge of $150.00 is required in the form
of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast
Guard for requested drawings. Drawings are now available on CD-ROM. The
CD-ROM sets are available for all cutters and will be free of charge to
contractors upon request [ten (10) days from solicitation issuance].
This procurement is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness
Demonstration Program. All businesses, large and small, are encouraged
to submit bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications
will be issued on or about July 5 2000. All responsible sources may
submit a bid that shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard.
