2000 GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT CONFERENCE Partners in Contracting Corporation (PICC) will sponsor the 2000 Government Procurement Conference at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville, Indiana on August 16, 2000 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This conference will bring small business suppliers together with buyers from federal and state government agencies and prime federal contractors. The objective is to provide an opportunity for small business suppliers and government agency buyers and prime contractors to discuss contracting needs and provide insight into potential procurement opportunities. Agencies and primes should be aware that this area of Indiana has many potential women- and minority-owned and small disadvantaged suppliers who will be attending the conference. Exhibit booths are available for federal and state agencies and prime contractors. Small business suppliers may register to visit exhibitor booths and attend workshops.
