firm-fixed price contract with a SIC Code of 1629. This acquisition is
100% Small Business Set-Aside and only offers from small business
concerns which may qualify under the size standards in this
solicitation will be accepted. Offers received from concerns that are
not small businesses shall be considered non-responsive and will be
rejected. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1M and
the construction period is 210 days. Bonding will be required for this
acquisition. The project consists of a grade control stabilization
structure on the Santa Fe River. It is comprised of concrete-faced and
capped gabions with cap angles, filter fabric, structural excavation
and riprap. Quantities include approximately 1.12 acres of clearing and
grubbing, 3,000 CY excavation, 2,950 CY fill and backfill, 1,550 CY
gabions, 140 CY 18" dumped rock, 170 CY 24" wire wrapped riprap, 540 CY
18" wire wrapped riprap, 3,130 SY filter fabric, 144 LF of handrail and
80 LF of corrugated PE pipe. Questionsof a technical nature should be

The cost of plans and specifications is $25.00 per set and is
non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to "F&A Officer-UFC
Albuquerque," and mailed to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Contracting Division, 4101 Jefferson Plaza, NE, Albuquerque, NM
87109-3435. Contractors who had previously submitted a check for this
project that was subsequently cancelled, may request a credit for
payment of plans and specifications for this solicitation. For further

delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or
final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds.
