Work consists of providing all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, quality control, and supervision to provide sanitary sewer improvements to Malmstrom AFB, Montana. The purpose is to decrease the inflow of surface water and the infiltration of groundwater into the existing sanitary sewer system. The project consists of, but is not limited to, locating and inspecting buried manholes, sealing the contact surfaces between the cast iron frame and concrete riser, placing hole plugs in storm sewer lids, realigning displaced concrete risers and/or adjustment rings, repairing internal and external manhole cracks, replacing cast iron lids, installing new concrete adjusting rings, installing plugs in abandoned cross connection pipe lines, surface restoration, sewer line video inspection, trench excavation backfill, sanitary sewer line replacement and storm sewer replacement. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available at website www.eps.gov on or about (o/a) 10 July 2000. RFP will close o/a 9 Aug 2000. Performance period is 90 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The acquisition is open to large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The RFP is available only by electronic transmission.
