The work includes the removal of thirteen 15KV G&W oil switches and installing eleven 15KV pad mounted air switches and one pad mounted transformer to replace them. There are a total of twelve different sites located at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, where the existing oil switches are located. The contractor shall provide all demolition and installation of new electrical duct banks, cabling, splicing and new switch/transformer foundations as specified by the engineering drawings and contract specifications. The contractor shall provide all new equipment and material. The contractor shall also dispose of the old switches, demo debris and construction debris. Estimated Cost Range: Between $250,000 and $500,000. There is a $25.00 non-refundable charge per set for plans and specifications.
