General Services Administration is soliciting proposals for the modernization of four (4) passenger elevators and one (1) passenger/service elevator in the Federal Building/Courthouse, 200 Fourth Street NW, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The estimated cost range is $500,000 to $1,500,000. Modernization of the equipment will include upgrading the elevators to comply with the latest ASME A17.1 Code, Fire Safety, and Accessibility Standards. The solicitation will also require related warranties/guarantees, a 1-year maintenance adjustment period and two 5-year options for preventive maintenance following the initial 1-year warranty and adjustment period. The facility will be occupied during the modernization. The contract will be acquired using source selection procedures with a firm fixed price award to the offeror who provides the best value to the Government. This solicitation is being procured on an unrestricted basis under the Small Business Competitiveness Program. The solicitation will be electronically posted and may be downloaded by referencing the solicitation number listed at the website: http://eps.arnet.gov. The solicitation will be available on or about June 30, 2000. A bid guarantee will be required. Award of a contract is contingent on funding approval. A pre-proposal conference to discuss project objectives and answer questions will be held on July 12, 2000 at 1:30 P.M. in the First Floor Conference Room of the U.S. Post Office/Courthouse, 215 Dean A. McGee Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK.
