preservation of four historic charcoal kiln structures which are
located in Lemhi County, Idaho, approximately 5 miles west of Highway
28, in Section 1, T.11N.R.27E., Boise Meridian, on the north end of the
Birch Creek Valley. The structures were constructed from local bricks
in 1883. The purpose of this project is to repair and stabilize the
kilns through repointing the mortar, replacing missing bricks,
stitching large cracks, and the application of a protective lime-based
render coat to the exterior of the structures. Estimated price range
is between $25,000-$100,000. Estimated completion date is September 30,
