In addition, submission of offers is amended to include submission by mail, fax, or electronic transmission (e-mail). This amendment also responds to questions presented for clarification. The responses are as follows: Two multimode fibers are available per 32 full duplex channels; one fiber for transmitted data and one fiber for received data. A singlemode RS-422 Data Fiber Optic Multiplexer Transmission System is not compatible with KSC's multimode fiber cable plant. Multimode fiber is the allocated infrastructure for this system; as multimode fiber has been installed and is operational.
