66 -- MANUALLY OPERATED MATERIAL LIFT SOL N68335-00-Q-0201 DUE 070500 POC Ms. Dawn Chartier, Code 25211DC, Mailstop B129-2, (732) 323-2933 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with BET Plant Services (BPS), Jacksonville, FL to procure fifty (5) assembled Material, Manually Operated Genie Lifts, Part Number 2056AS944-01 for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Program. A wire rope assembly by M&T will need to provided with the lift. BPS is the only known firm that has worked with Genie and M&T in providing the assembled lift with the sling assembly in the short time frame needed by the Government. The Government does not own the specifications or drawings. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
