This procurement is a small business set aside. Additional information will be faxed out. Please contact the contracting officer at telefax number listed above. The items required include the following:Fanny pack style pistol holsters, double pistol magazine holder, concealable pistol holsters, gun cleaning kits, multi-purpose tools, pocket knives, Gortex rain jackets and pants, compass (military specs), A.L.I.C.E. type combat suspenders system with accessories, impact resistant ballistic glasses, high quality handcuffs, rifle scope for M-14/M-1A Rifle w/mount, Reticle projection Rifle/Pistol sight, ultralight rifle Bi-Pods, Standard 4X20 power compact scope for M-16 rifle with see thru mount, padded tactical rifle carrying case for full size M-16 rifle, police sirens, speakers, and undercover emergency light kits, vehicle tire Spike system. These items are URGENTLY REQUIRED. The Government will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the specifications (to be faxed out upon request to the contracting officer), and is most advantageous to the Govt. that which represents the Best Value to the Govt. All offers which are rated technically sufficient will then be evaluated for delivery time ARO and cost/price. The proposed cost or price must be reasonable and reflect technical requirements. The Govt. may award to other than the lowest priced offer, if the delivery time for the lowest priced offer is significantly long as defined by the Govt. In the event that two or more offers are technically equivalent, then the cost/price and delivery time become primarily important. Vendors will be expected to ship the items by express mail directly to the American Embassy, Bangkok. Estimated shipping costs may be included as a separate line item in the offer and actual shipping costs may be invoiced to the Government after shipment. Note that all offers must be received by the contracting officer no later than 4:30 P.M., E.S.T. on June 26, 2000.
