The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration intends to issue a competitive solicitation for services to provide the necessary qualified personnel, materials, supplies, facilities and services to develop a matrix of medical conditions/symptoms and level of functional ability as they relate to driving and rehabilitation. The matrix shall be a tool for providing simple and accurate information regarding severity of symptoms as they relate to driving performance. Develop education plans for five or more target groups to introduce them to the matrix concept and the importance of driving safety. Also, develop draft materials for those target groups. The anticipated period of performance is fifteen (15) months. A Cost Reimbursement type contract is contemplated.
