M -- VACUUM PUMP GRATE COVERED TRENCHES AND OPEN SUMPS SOL SP0410-00-Q-0127 DUE 081600 POC Mary Wingfield, Phone Number 804-279-3930, FAX Number 804-279-3246 The Defense Supply Center Richmond has a requirement for bimonthly vacuum truck pump out of grate covered trenches and open sumps within the center, Buildings 80 & 92. Building 80 Equipment Room -- Approximately 310 feet of inside concrete trenching, approximately 6 inches to 1 foot in depth, with two sumps, approximately 2 foot square and 3 feet in depth, require vacuum truck pumping for removal of petroleum product, grits and debris. This vacuum pumping is to occur once every 60 days or when specifically requested by DSCR. Additionally, two sumps in the Equipment Division steam room will require pump out every 2 weeks. Building 92 -- Government Car Wash -- One sump at the car wash will require removal of solids and debris. The vacuum pumping is to occur once every 60 days or when requested by DSCR. The contractor will need to segregate and separately remove solids, sample, have laboratory analyses run prior to disposal; temporarily store on site and ultimately properly dispose of solids from clean out of sumps. All of the above requirements will be detailed in the specification included with the solicitation. The Government anticipates awarding a single purchase order with one base year and three(3) one-year option periods. The solicitation will be a 100% small business set-aside.
