VA Puget Sound Health Care System is soliciting quotes for the leasing and maintenance of various types of pagers for both the Seattle and Tacoma divisions. Contractor's service area must include all of Western Washington along the Interstate 5 Corridor, from the Canadian border to the Oregon state line, plus a limited number of nationwide pagers. Contractor's signaling system and pagers must be of the highest quality and reliability, capable of penetrating all areas within the Seattle campus, Tacoma campus, and the University of Washington; transmission time for each page cannot exceed 45 seconds. This procurement is offered on an unrestricted basis to qualified offerors; however, a set-aside for 8(a) or Small Business will be considered by the contracting officer if two or more such firms submit a quote in response to the solicitation. Details of the set-aside are contained in the solicitation package. SIC Code 4812 applies, and the small business size standard is 1500 employees. This is a requirements contract for one base year, plus four option years.
