Aguirre, 505-434-7340 or Civil Engineer, Thomas Torres, 505-434-7375 The USDA Forest Service, Region 3, Lincoln National Forest, Sacramento Ranger District, located in southern New Mexico plans to award a firm fixed price contract for this project, which includes the heavy maintenance of four campgrounds within the Silver Campground Complex. The campgrounds are Silver Overflow Area, Silver Campground, Saddle Campground, and Apache Campground. Work items include but are not limited to the following: reconstruction of asphalt paved camping spurs, demolition and removal of existing wood-frame toilet buildings, demolition and removal of campground items, clearing & grubbing, excavation and embankment, structure excavation and backfill, grading, construction of shower building, construction of on-site septic/sewer system, construction and/or installaation of concrete picnic tables, gates, drinking water hydrants, fire rings, and signs. The complex is located approximately 2 miles Northeast of Cloudcroft, NM via Hwy 82 and Hwy 244. Price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
