The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all other essentials necessary for asbestos insulation, removal and disposal and the installation of new insulation at miscellaneous locations throughout Fort Bliss, Texas, and White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. Work shall include, but not be limited to, site preparation and clean-up, asbestos insulation removal and disposal (shroud, semi-shroud or glove-bag methods), asbestos decontamination of: walls, floors, ceilings, piping, ductwork, attics, crawl spaces, plenums any objects in project work area, air monitoring and air sampling (independent third party), collection and sampling of contaminated soil, removal and disposal of contaminated soil and debris, and the installation of new insulation. Performance of all work is in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.1101, 40 CFR 61, Subparts A and M, and the requirements stated in the contract. A firm fixed-price, requirements type contract is contemplated witha base year plus four (4) option years. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1799 with a Small Business Standard of $7 Million. Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement action will be issued as unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
