The work package will include: (1) cleaning of extensive cutter exterior surfaces and non-skid areas to remove dirt, grease, filth, running rust and surface rust by way of a complete washdown and necessary scrubbing with appropriate detergents), and (2) painting of various external surfaces. All equipment and materials involved in the above work shall be contractor-furnished. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Solicitation will be issued on or about 5 July 2000 with a proposal closing date of 4 August 2000. Period of performance will commence 11 August 2000 and conclude 24 August 2000. This will be an unrestricted negotiated procurement.
