The new presolicitation notice should read: The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is soliciting for closing agent services for the sale of single family properties located in Mississippi comprising of the following counties: Area 1 (Northeast counties) Bolivar, Carroll, Coahoma, DeSoto, Grenada, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Leflore, Panola, Quitman, Sharkley, Sunflower, Tallachatchie, Tate, Tunica, Washington and Yalobusha; Area 2 (Northwest counties) Alcorn, Attala, Benton, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Clay Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee Lowndes, Marshall, Monroe, Montgomery, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, Union, Webster and Winston. Sales must be closed within a stipulated time frame and prompt and accurate payment of all closing changes made. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Mississippi. The contract(s) will be for a one-year base period, with four one-year options. Proposals will be rated on technical merit. Contract start-up is expected to be September 01, 2000. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
