Contractor will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load Operations and Part 135, Air Taxi Operators & Commercial Operators. Furnish flight services, fully contractor operated and maintained, consisting of light turbine 2/3 place and or reciprocating engine 2/3 place helicopters. Use of the aircraft will be in support of the State of Idaho, Department of Fish and Game wildlife surveys and other resource management programs. The government may make multiple awards under this solicitation. Any awards made under this solicitation will be additional sources of availability for the State of Idaho as a number of existing contracts are already in place to support on call the State of Idaho. For an offer to receive serious consideration for award, the contractor's operating base would need to be located in the State of Idaho or within close proximity of the state in order that aircraft ferry costs to a project area within the State are minimal. Mobilization/demobilization will be a cost factor considered during the evaluation of proposals. Contractor selection for individual projects will be in accordance with the ordering procedures identified in the solicitation. The term of the contract will be one year beginning December 1 and extending through November 30, 2001.
