Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to tear off and replace the roofs on four (4) family housing units and replace with asbestos free asphalt shingles, renew all flashing, and replace gutters and downspouts at the USCG LORAN (Long-Range Aid to Navigation) Station Baudette, Baudette, Minnesota. PRINCIPLE WORK ITEMS: Project mobilization and demobilization; removal and disposal of existing roof system, including shingles, felt and flashing; removal and disposal of asbestos containing material (ACM) included in all roofing tar surrounding roof penetrations (no ACM was discovered in either shingles or tar paper); removal of existing gutter system; inspection of sheathing for rot and replacement of approximately 200 sq. ft; removal and replacement of four (4) 12-inch turbine vents (one per house); installation of new asbestos free felt, ice protection membrane, and asphalt shingles (approximately 89 squares total will be required); renewal of all flashing; replacement of gutter and downspout system in kind (approximately 465 linear feet of gutter will be required). UNIT WORK ITEM: Replace sheathing boards on the houses based on a quantity of 100 sq. ft. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code assigned to this project is 1761.
