Contractor to provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and material (except that specifically listed herein as Government-furnished material) to completely remove existing roofing (shingles, underlayment, and roofing nails), repair damaged roof decking, and installation of specified roofing material on the sloped portion of the roof. Existing roofing material on the flat (built-up) portions of the roof at each end of the building is also to be removed and replaced with specified material. The metal roof over the front entrance is to be cleaned and painted. Also included is the removal of damaged cornice material consisting of small and large crown molding, fascia, soffit, and vent screen and replacement of the removed material with similar GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED MATERIAL. This building is an open and active, public, 3-story building. The contractor shall comply with all OSHA requirements to ensure the safety and protection of contract employees, employees of the Alexandria Forestry Center, and visitors to the site.
