Procure one (1) each Paint Float (barge)12'wide x 20'long. Requirements: Frame 12' x 20' floor plate WSE T-60-61 aluminum pontoons 18" round, 20'long 1/8" wall thickness, use bevel ends on pontoons. Metal requirements for fasting pontoons to floor plate 4" aluminum channel, one down each side and one down middle of floor plate 20' long seven to ten cross pieces spaced evenly using 4" aluminum channel 14' long. Removable hand rails: handrails around floor plate use 1 1/4 square tube T-60-61, 36" high with 1 1/2" sockets. Clets: Four clets 8" aluminum, 9" from each corner, then do the same on the other side. Paint System: White blast floor plate and pontoons, floor plate prime and use tie coat to apply non-skid to top floor plate. Pontoons prime cold tar and anti-foulding. Handrails will remain natural aluminum. Delivery must be no later than 1 September 2000. The Paint Float (barge) is for Port Operations, Naval Station, Ingleside, Tx.
