NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Item (1) Two Axis Automatic Positioning and Rate Table System per SP1308, P/N 1562-12-488-UC qty (1). Item (2) On-site 1562 Engineering Installation Support (2 days) qty (1). Required delivery is 120 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a Sole Source basis to Ideal Aerosmith, Inc., 201 Penn Center Boulevard, Suite 406, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 small business. SIC Code is 3679; size standard 500 employees. The reason that this acquisition is being conducted on a sole source basis is because the equipment that will be provided by Ideal Aerosmith is the only rate table fully compatible with the Mk 695 hardware and software architecture. This system is currently utilized on all Mk 695 TSTS Systems. Only the Ideal Aerosmith 1562-12 Rate Table System can serve as a direct replacement or spare for the existing MK 695 components.
