The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Environmental Technology Labs (ETL) intends to award a sole source contract under authority 41 USC 253(c)(1) to Sigmet, Inc., 2 Park Drive, Unit 1, Westford, MA 01886 for two new IRIS Analysis software licenses. This software is to upgrade existing software on NOAA Research Vessel RONALD H. BROWN that operates the ship=92s C-band weather radar, and to provide identical software for a workstation in Boulder, Colorado to be used for processing of ship=92s data, for remote trouble shooting, and for training project scientists on use of the ship=92s radar. This procurement is being conducted per FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This synopsis is issued for information only. No competitive solicitation = is planned.
