81 -- LIQUID CONTAINER LINERS SOL N47408-00-R-8892 DUE 072000 POC Mr. Buck Thomas, Email: thomasce@nfesc.navy.mil, ph: 805-982-1590, fax 805-982-1458 DESC: LIQUID CONTAINERS, Sources Sought -- The Naval Facilities Engineering Service center (NFESC) is seeking sources, to include developmental sources, of technologies for collapsible replaceable liners to be used to line two man transportable small liquid containers. The liner shall have at least four integral lifting handles, possess at least an 18 gallon capacity, and a pour spout with closure device. These handles shall be capable of being used to tie a completely filled liner to vehicle. The pour spout shall dispense liquids at least 7 gallons per minute rate. The liner shall survive repeated drops 2.6 feet on to a concrete surface without liner breakage. Based on information received, the NFESC may make an award/s through the small purchase process.
