The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, supervision and equipment required to complete the proposed project at the 109 AW, Stratton ANGB, Scotia, NY in strict compliance with plans and specifications supplied by the Government. The overall scope of work includes the construction of 10,000 square feet of new facility, and alteration/renovation of 17,000 square feet of existing facility. The work is to be scheduled and completed in two (2) separate phases. Phase one is construction of the new addition and supporting utility systems with Phase two consisting of alteration/renovation in the existing structure. Work to complete this project includes but is not limited to selective demolition and removals, site work, site utilities, concrete foundations/floorslabs, masonry exterior wall construction, structural steel, steel roof joists, metal roof deck, EPDM roof systems, auditorium seating, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm and detection systems (no fire suppression in scope), PAsystems, voice and data cable systems (telephone, CCTV, and LAN), and landscaping to provide a complete and functional facility. All work will be in accordance with the project plans and specifications provided by the Government. The construction schedule and all elements of the project will be closely coordinated with the Base Civil Engineer. The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The anticipated construction performance period is 455 calendar days after acknowledgement of Notice to Proceed. IFB DAHA30-00-B-0005 will be issued on or about 7 July 2000, with a bid opening date of on or about 7 August 2000. A pre-bid conference will be held at the 109 AW, Base Civil Engineering Office, Stratton ANGB, Scotia, NY with the date and time to be determined. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) applicable to this project is 1542. This solicitation is unrestricted, all responsible parties may submit a bid.
