Talbert, Contracting Officer, (916) 643-0290 The Television-Audio Support Activity (T-ASA) proposes to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for engineering/technical services to include furnishing and installing for a wide range of visual information and broadcast systems, to include: conference room presentation systems, computer classrooms, analog/digital video/audio/data distribution systems, video teleconferencing systems, electronic imaging systems, analog/digital TV/video production facilities, analog/digital video/audio editing suites, sound reinforcement, television studios and miscellaneous visual information and broadcast systems for DoD activities worldwide. T-ASA intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for this effort. The contract will be awarded through a Best Value analysis process. The contractor awarded a contract as a result of this effort will be issued task orders to perform the various tasks described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). To more fully inform potential offerors of the scope of these efforts and to obtain industry feed back prior to issuance of the Request for Proposals (RFP), a pre-solicitation conference is scheduled for July 19, 2000, 10:00 AM PDT, at T-ASA, 3230 Peacekeeper Way, McClellan AFB, California, 95652. Attendance at the conference is not required, however, to realize the maximum potential for industry input in the final PWS, contractors are encouraged to attend. Attendance must be confirmed no later than July 12, 2000.
