Dingell Medical Center intends to negotiate with Synthes LTD, 1690 Russell, P.O. Box 1766, Paoli, Pa 19301-0800, for purchase of orthopedic implants for orthopedic instrument trays. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitatiion number RFQ: 553-84-00 has been assigned to this procurement. Vendor shall supply all orthopedic implants for the orthopedic trays. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the Government.
