This proposed contract action is set aside 100 percent for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3577 and the Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. DESCRIPTION: Rapid Prototyping Machine -- polyester based desktop 3D printer. This machine will be used by Engineering Mechanics and Aeronautic Design courses at the USAF Academy to build parts from CAD drawings. Specifications are as follows: 1) Machine must be capable of building parts up to 305x203x203mm(12x8x8 in). 2) Automatic Operation Using AutoGen software. 3) Machine must be compatible with Windows NT, Sun Microsystem, Hewlett-Packard and Silicon Graphic Workstations. 4) Machine must be capable of printing 3D prints within an accuracy of +-.356mm (+-.013in).
