& etc for the 2002 Winter Olympics impact on VA Medical Center.. A/E
must have sufficient background in NFPA 101 safety and JCAHO hospital
operations to apply valid design options to known and planned
situations. A/E must have working knowledge of ARCHIBUS facility
management software, Autocad 2000, Microsoft Project, etc. in order to
interface with existing VAMC Engineering Systems. AE must have
sufficient background in the design of scheduling & coordination
services to provide valid options for consideration. Capable AE firms
that desire consideration are required to submit two copies of SF 254
& 255's not later than July 21, 2000 to the Department of Veterans
Affairs Healthcare System, 500 Foothill Blvd, Salt Lake City, Utah
84148 Reference #660-32-00. The selected firm shall be required to
respond in person at the Salt Lake City VAMC site within 6 hours for
any sercvices required under the contract. A firm fixed price contract
is anticipated. Criteria to be evaluated by the evaluation board: 1.
Professional Qualifications and experience of the firm. 2. Experience
and professional qualifications of the firm's staff to be assigned to
the project. 3. Ovelall performance record of the firm and analysis of
the firms current workload. The anticipated cost of this project is
$25,000 or more. This acquisition is set aside for Small Emerging
Business Size Standard 2.0 Million SIC Code 8712 -- Subject to the
