The Solicitation Number is changed from F49642-00-R-0038 to F49642-00-R-0048. The 11th Contracting Squadron, on behalf of the Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense Organization (JTAMDO), requires demonstrated operational and technical experience and knowledge in Theater Air and Missile Defense (TAMD). The contractor must fully understand and articulate an integrated Joint TAMD (JTAMD) architecture encompassing Single Integrated Air Picture, advanced integrated fire control, combat identification, attack operations and passive defense. The contractor must have a minimum of 2000 hours fighter time in USAF fighter aircraft and Air to Air experience. At contract award the contractor performing the work must possess a final Top Secret (TSI) clearance based upon a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), current within the past five years, and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on District Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 1/14. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure JTAMDO_s requirement on a competitive basis with a one-year, Fixed Price Contract with two one-year options valued at approximately $700,000. This is a 100% small business set aside. The standard industrial classification code is 8741. The RFP is expected to be released on or about 27 Jun 00 with proposals due 30 days thereafter. Air Force basic source selection procedures will be used to select the best value offer. A pre-proposal meeting is tentatively scheduled for Friday, 30 June 00, 10:00am at Bolling Air Force Base.
