DESC: The Financial Management Systems Service Center (FMSSC) of GSA's
Federal Technology Service serves as a liaison between client Federal
agencies and industry partners to provide solutions for financial and
administrative management requirements. The FMSSC is issuing this
"Sources Sought" to identify and obtain information from commercial
vendors desiring to become "interested sources" or industry partners
for three components of the solutions process: (1) business process
analysis, (2) requirements definition, and (3) independent validation
and verification (IV&V). Future requests will be published to collect
information from parties interested in other components of the process.
FMSSC is looking for vendors who have previous experience with business
process analysis for financial and administrative management in the
Federal sector. FMSSC is also interested in partners with experience in
defining process and system requirements for Federal financial and
administrative systems or who have conducted various IV&V tasks during
any part of a Federal systems selection or implementation process.

by July 20, 2000: 1. Solution component for which you wish to become an
interested source. 2. Corporate capabilities statement 3. GSA Schedule
or other Government-wide contracting vehicle identification and
contract number 4. Project descriptions (a one page or less description
of corporate projects related to any of the functions described above,
preferably for a federal agency, including the size and scope of ort
and the client.) Up to three projects per component may be submitted.
