Hood National Forest. The Forest is located in Northwest Oregon. Surveys to be performed under certain protocols. Fall 2000 surveys to be completed between October 1 and December 15, 2000, and include an estimated 7,698 acres of survey project area to be surveyed in three individual surveys per project area and an estimated 2,095 acres for one survey visit. Fall 2001 surveys are subject to availability of funds and if performed, are to be completed between October 1, 2001, and December 15, 2001, and include an estimated 1,020 acres to be surveyed in three individual surveys per project area.
