The Bureau of Prisons intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for these services. The contractor will meet with Management of the United States Medical Center for Prisoners located in Springfield, Missouri, to gain an understanding of the policies and procedures and current operations at the medical center. The Contractor will perform a "black box" survey of the payers and providers in Springfield and the surrounding area. The contractor will provide a report on their market research in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10 entitled "Market Research." The contractor will make recommendations of the best approach to soliciting and awarding a comprehensive medical services contract that provides for the best value to the Government.
