The Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Regulatory Enforcement (ORE), Mobile Source Enforcement Branch (MSEB) has a requirement for enforcement support for mobile sources. Specifically, MSEB enforces and assists in compliance with the mobile source provisions of the Clean Air Act. Contractor support is required in the areas of inspections/investigations, enforcement case support, laboratory support, and enforcement program development and implementation. EPA anticipates the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity task order contract. It is anticipated that as many as 109,000 direct labor hours could be required for this effort. The contract is anticipated to have a total period of performance of sixty (60) months with a twenty-four (24) month base period, a twenty-four (24) month Option Period I, and a twelve (12) month Option Period II. This procurement will be conducted as a full and open competition. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 8/31/00 and proposals will be due about 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. This procurement is a follow-on to EPA Contract No. 68-W6-0027. The SIC is 8741.
