The U.S Agency for International Development's mission to West Bank & Gaza intends to seek proposals from qualified U.S organizations to provide technical assistance for the period of three years (36 months), with an option period of two years (24 months), on the promotion of industrial zones and investment mobilization (prizim) as further described in section "c" of the pending RFP. These services will provide institutional support to the Palestinian industrial estate and free zone authority (piefza) to effectively monitor, regulate and promote industrial estate and free zone development in the West Bank and Gaza. These services will also provide targeted technical assistance in the development of specific industrial or technology estates and analytic support on trade related logistical issues impacting Palestinian commerce and will provide support to the Palestinian investment promotion agency (pipa) in implementing its broad investment promotion mandate for the West Bank and Gaza. It is anticipated that a cost reimbursement type contract will be awarded for the services specified therein. The RFP will be issued not less than 15 days after publication of this notice. Requests for copies of the RFP should be made in writing to the contact person as noted above.
