Re-decking Kimbell Creek Bridge, a 13.3' wide by 15.0' long timber laminated bridge with concrete abutments and wingwalls. Replace the existing deck with a 16.0' wide concrete deck with wooden guard and approach rails. The deck shall be installed on the existing abutments and wingwalls. All work and material for the deck shall be in accordance with AASHTO requirements for an HS20 loading. Shop drawings shall be submitted signed by a licensed engineer. The drawings for the railing shall be stamped by the Ga Department of Transportation showing the railing meets their requirements. PROJECT LOCATION: from Clarkesville GA travel SE on US 123 towards Ayersville; turn right onto Ayersville Road at Patterson Pump; go approximately 1.0 mile and turn left onto Guard Camp Road (FS #87); follow this road 4.3 miles to the bridge site.
