PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, General construction contractor services are required at the: 180th Fighter Wing, Ohio Air National Guard, 2660 South Eber Rd, Swanton, OH, 43558-9645. Services are required for a 3 phase renovation / new construction project. The project will consist of modification or addition to 3 existing facilities, totaling approximately 78,500 SF ( 76,000 SF renovation; 2,500 SF new construction ). Phase "A" will consist of a complete renovation of a 12,700 SF Pre-Engineered metal structure, to be used for aircraft structural Fabrication and Repair shops. Space will also be provided for administrative offices & restroom facilities. Phase "B" will consist of construction of a 2580 SF addition to a brick and cmu structure, for an Audio-Visual Services Center, to include a video studio, video control room, audio booth, multimedia production, CCTV & video broadcasting, & storage. Phase "C" will consist of a complete renovation of an exiting 63,000 SF Aircraft Maintenance Hangar. The facility is a two-story structure surrounding the high bay aircraft maintenance bay. Additional functions included are; Aircraft maintenance shops, administrative offices, restrooms / locker rooms, classrooms, conference rooms, break areas, & storage. The general construction will consist of the following: general demolition; asbestos abatement; site work; utility service modifications; step-down transformers from high voltage main feed; insulated windows; interior, exterior, garage & hangar doors; insulated metal panel siding; brick & cmu exterior walls; partition walls; standing seam & built-up roofs; fire detection & suppression; security; telephone, data, fiber, CCTV; chilled water cooling, hot water heat & humidification, VAV distribution; gas fired radiant heat; DDC energy management system; Interior plumbing, sanitary & storm; Equipment relocation & installation; temporary trailer office & storage. Total estimate for this project is between $5.0 million and $10.0 million. Plans and specifications will be available for inspection without charge at 2811 W Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, Ohio in the Purchasing and Contracting Office or at the 180th FW, Swanton, Ohio. A Request for the solicitation package should be submitted by 10 July 2000. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 1542. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more that $ 17 Million average annual revenue for the previous three years. This is a pre-solicitation notice, do not request the solicitation until a synopsis is published. The cost and means of requesting for the solicitation package will be announced in the synopsis.
