Service's Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management has a
requirement for one (1) boat with unitized fiberglass deep "V" hull
with sufficient beam, approximately 10 to 11 feet, for operation in
adverse weather conditions off the coastal water of northern
California. No prototypes, basic hull design must have been
manufactured for a minimum of 3 years. A vessel must be available for
sea trials. The hull length shall not exceed 33 feet and shall not be
less than 30 feet in length overall. The vessel shall have dual diesel
engines, outdrives with twin propellers, sufficient power to sustain
a cruising speed of 20 knots minimum and minimum fuel capacity of 250
gallons. The vessel must have an enclosed cabin structure that can be
secured and has permanent berthing for two persons. Accessory items
shall be installed and include: a VHF radio with antenna, GPS/chart
plotter/echo sounder, radar and digital compass system. Delivery is
required FOB Bodega Bay, California within 120 days after contract
award. This is a 100 percent small business set-aside. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
