Contracts Management Division, Cincinnati,
http://www.epa.gov/oam/cmd_cinn/. E-MAIL: click here to e-mail the
contract specialist, brinkmiller.michael@epa.gov. The U.S. EPA, Office
of Water, Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water, Technical Support
Center has a requirement for laboratory analyses and reporting of
microbiological, radionuclide, and or chemical analyses data in support
of the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule. The Safe Drinking Water
Act previously established an unregulated contaminant monitoring
program by which public water systems monitored for up to 48
contaminants considered to be potential drinking water contaminants.
Unregulated contaminant monitoring of public water systems informs the
public about contaminants not previously observed in their water
systems. This information is used in determining whether a contaminant
occurs at a frequency and in concentrations to warrant further
analysis and research on potential health effects. The laboratory
analyses under this solicitation will require the contractor to analyze
water samples by strictly following all of the procedures detailed in
analytical methods specified and provided by the EPA. The EPA
anticipates a multiple award, IDIQ type contract with a five year
period of performance. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small
businesses. The applicable SIC code is 8742. Solicitation
PR-CI-00-10887 will be released through the Internet on the EPA's home
page at www.epa.gov/oam/cmd_cinn/. It is anticipated that this
solicitation will be available by mid July 2000. Note: PR-CI-00-10887
contains the set-aside portion identified under the original
solicitation notice for PR-CI-99-13953. Posted 06/22/00 (W-SN467340).
