The Office of Justice Programs intends to procure on a sole source basis the licence for 20 individuals to use the SuperSTAR I Software (SuperMART Builder Ver 3.X, SuperCUBE Builder Ver 1.X, and the end user modules, SuperCROSS, SuperTABLE Ver 3.X, and SuperCHART Ver 2.X) from Space-Time Research PTY, LTD, 1102 Toorak Road, Hartwell, Victoria 3124 Australia. The software will be used by Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) personnel and by personnel at the University of Michigan's National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD) to produce datasets and tabulations from the microlevel of particular datasets. These datasets will enable the end users to create tabulations compiled from the microdata. The SuperSTAR I Software will allow a wider audience access to summarized data and will ensure that proper replication of tabulated counts will be achieved. The software will be procured as a commercial item and will be used during a 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods, beginning on or about August 1, 2000.
