This is to modify the CBD notice originally issued on April 19, 2000.
The CBD is modified as follows: Residential Comprehensive Sanctions
Center Services (SCS) Including Programs Specific to Native Americans.
Concerns having the ability to provide CSC Including Programs Specific
to Native Americans for male and female Federal offenders. Those
interested are requested to give written notification (including
telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office
listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody,
control, accountability and treatment, to include furnishing of
subsistence and medical treatment. The services described shall be in
accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of
the facility shall be in the Farmington, New Mexico area. Estimated
total number of inmate days for the two year base period is 18,200
inmate days and 10,900 inmate days for option years one, two and three.
Estimated RFP issue date is o/a July 10, 2000, estimated closing date
is o/a September 11, 2000. The Bureau of Prisons will conduct a
pre-proposal conference on August 14, 2000, from 1:00 p.m until 5:00
p.m. at the Gateway Center, 3041 East Main Street, Farmington, New
Mexico 87402. Interested sources must register by submitting, in
writing, a notice of the organization's intention to attend and the
name(s) of the individual(s) who will be representing the potential
offerors at the conference. The registration must be received by the
Bureau of PRisons no later than August 4, 2000, 3:00 p.m. Eastern
Standard Time. The written notification shall be submitted via
facsimile to (202)307-2780, or mailed to the Contracting Officer at:
Federal Bureau of Prisons, 320 First Street, N.W. (5006), Washington,
DC 20534. The purpose of the pre-proposal conference is for Government
representatives to answer potential offerors questions regarding the
technical aspects of the solicitation, the facilities and areas in
which services will be performed. Contract base period is two years
with three one-year options to renew. A requirements contract is
anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall
be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted. No
